Meet Kyle Ahrens
Vastly underrated in my opinion...the injury is what kept him from being initially ranked higher. After having watched just about all available film on him and Grandstaff, I would take Ahrens every single time, based in on small part on the fact that Ahrens can finish with either hand whereas Grandstaff has no left in the videos I saw. As someone mentioned in the Kennard thread, Ahrens looks very similar...Kennard is quicker with better vision, better handle and better passing ability right now. But Kyle seems to have tremendous upside, especially as someone who can both attack the rim and shoot from outside. And he is a tenacious defender. I would definitely like to see an offer go out...especially when you add the fact that he also has offers from Michigan State, Iowa, and just about every school in-state.

Meet Kyle Ahrens
Ohio State's 2015 recruiting class took a little bump this evening as five-star shooting guard Luke Kennard, from Franklin (Ohio) chose Duke over Ohio State as his college choice. Kennard, an AAU teammate of current Buckeye commitment A.J. Harris, is one of a handful of highly-ranked players in the Buckeye's backyard.
Kennard and Harris are two of what seems to an entire roster full of thoroughbreds. Akron St. Vincent-St. Mary's V.J. King, perhaps the top 2016 player in the country also runs alongside them on the court as does Versailles (Ohio) sharpshooter Kyle Ahrens, the 104th-ranked player in 247Sports.com's composite rankings.
