Ahrens was mentioned in another thread so I will post this here...I would like to see an offer to Kyle as much as the next guy but I have to imagine the coaches are waiting to see how he comes back from the injury (broken leg I believe)...

You're right there are a lot of good options for OSU in recruiting. I'm happy with Grandstaff so I don't see "missing" on Ahrens as a problem whatsoever.

I really do not think we missed on Kyle because we never offered him and after Grandstaff verballed I highly doubt if the staff even looked at Kyle. It will be interesting to see these guys go head-to-head when they are in college.

I agree, I wouldn't call Ahrens a "miss" but some might feel that way.
