All the dominos falling at QB reminds me of the OL recruitment last year...

Very true. I still feel like the coaches can pull this one out. Congrats to Darlington and Nebraska. I like the fit, and I think that was probably the best landing place for Darlington. Wish them all the luck.

Nebraska pulling one of Florida's top QBs, perhaps their best QB. I like what I'm seeing.

Not sure how seriously we were pursuing Darlington yet...I think that was to be determined at camp. Safe to say all the eggs are in the Harris basket though.

Nebraska prospect's pick stings Ohio State

Nebraska has landed yet another state championship quarterback. Senior Taylor Martinez and true freshman Johnny Stanton won titles in California. Redshirt freshman Tommy Armstrong won his in Texas. Friday, the Huskers added to the mix 2014 commit Zack Darlington -- who last year delivered a title to Apopka in Florida's largest class. The decision comes with a rare Big Ten bonus: Darlington rebuffed an offer from Ohio State and Urban Meyer. ... [The 6-foot-2, 207-pound three-star prospect] delivered the good news to Husker coach Bo Pelini and offensive coordinator Tim Beck right after delivering the bad news to the Buckeyes. He was the fifth pledge for NU's class and the biggest name of the bunch.

I guess the writer felt he just had to "hype the commitment". I doubt that it was all that big of sting.
:tongue2:
