Probably true. The thing is, UFM doesn't classify a lot of these kids as RBs. Just like Diggs, he classifies a lot of the speedy, shifty guys as a hyrbid position. So he will most likely take a true RB (Green, Isaac, Smith) and then 1 more hybrid (remember, he already has Marshall in this role). So that will probably add up to 3 total recruits who UFM can place in the backfield with Braxton.

Which is what I said in the first place...

Mizzell is a very good play-maker. If he's interested, pairing him up with Jalin Marshall would be scary explosive.

You really see marshall as a hybrid role? I thought he was just going to be a wr and not have to worry about lining up at rb as well. I thought harvin was needed there because UFs lack of a real rb threat. We don't have that problem.

Marshall is too good a running threat to not be utilized back there. Also, the more playmakers you have on the field that can do multiple things the deadlier you are. That's why Tebow and Harvin excelled, because as a QB, Tebow could run it, and as a WR, Harvin could run it. It keeps the defense on their heels and guessing; you're now in control and they're in a reactionary mind set. Having a QB that can only throw, or a RB that can only rush, or tall WRs that can't motion into the backfield, really limits you. No more running into 8-9 man fronts 80% of the game and pretending you're better and can overpower your opponent every time. No more defenses calling out our plays because of the formation we're in and personnel we have on the field.

I understand what you're saying, but isn't having a qb as a running threat enough? We just had a NC with 2 teams who played offense the exact way u described, and both teams would dominate some of our best osu teams. Id like to see playmakers on the field too, but having superior talent in a pro style offense works too. Usc did for a while with cartilage and they're having similar success with kiffin. I think the play calling had more to do with our offensive ineptitude than our players talent, imo
