'13 OH DB Caleb Day (Illinois Verbal)

Woodard without a doubt is a corner.

Burrows wants to play corner and I believe he can and will.

Day could play corner, safety, or wide-receiver. He said he is going to camp at OSU as a receiver.

Agree with this as well.

If Burrows is finished growing, I think he definitely ends up at corner. If he grows any, though, he's still make an excellent safety.

I kinda see Day sticking to corner or wr mostly. I don't know if he brings the physicality enough for safety. At least according to what I've seen.

WR, CB, and KR in one package. Anyone remember Chris Gamble?

Indeed. I think Day is a couple inches shorter than Gamble as well as 20 pounds lighter, but he is probably a bit faster. I don't know if he is the overall athlete that Gamble was, though. Haven't seen Day enough. Also, Gamble's instincts were elite. He played corner for the national championship team on instincts alone. He was new to the position yet played at an elite level, especially against Miami. Shut Andre Johnson down.

I'm really hoping Caleb impresses at camp this weekend. He seems to have the skill and ability to be a legitimate WR and CB. He was a early from the old staff. Earn it again CALEB!!

I agree! Id like him a little more on defense, imo. Id like him as another cb if burrows moves to S. And definitely to provide great depth. He would possibly see some early pt with so many teams running the spread also

Caleb Day impresses at Ohio State
June, 11, 2012
By Brad Bournival | ESPN.com

Caleb Day (Hilliard, Ohio/Darby) made the most of his second chance at Ohio State?s Senior Advanced Camp on Sunday.

The 6-foot-1, 180-pound Day had an offer under the previous Buckeyes? regime, but was told to come to camp to be re-evaluated.

On Sunday, the 2013 recruit impressed when he turned in a 4.5 40-yard dash and looked strong in the individual drills both at cornerback and wide receiver. He also showed some good footwork to go with his speed.
