'13 OH DB Caleb Day (Illinois Verbal)

Day is a fantastic athlete, but extremely raw. I see him as more of a project, but one that could pay off on either side of the ball. And with Woodard, Burrows, etc. coming in, we can take our time developing him.

Yeah put him on my list of things that puzzle me about 2013 Ohio recruits. Day is a stud and elite player at 3 positions, certainly hope he ends up a Buckeye.

Want to head over to the 2013 general thread and get some other things off of your chest? It could be interesting.:)

I agree but after watching the highlights and reading that he will be working out at WR in camp makes me wonder if the staff is not totally sure where he would best fit into the larger picture. I liked seeing some of the open field tackles where he fights through a block to make the tackle. Clearly has ability on both sides of the ball.

IMO:

Burrows, Woodard, Day.

Both Burrows and Woodard are top 30 players in my eyes, and Day is a legit 4-star. This secondary is gonna be a good one in a couple of years, and Urban's not done yet...

Agree with that order. Day is the least polished of the group IMO. Out of the three, though, I think Day is the most versatile. Could easily see him returning kicks or playing offense.

Is there a defined position for all 3? Will all 3 be CBs or will 1-2 be safeties? Or is this a case where we just get them all committed and deal with it then lol
