It's being reported all over 247sports that he commited to Indiana tonight. He is their 6th commit for 2013 and they only have 2 seniors on the team.

They actually have 3 seniors by my count - Hulls, Watford and Elston. Creek would be in that class but he had a medical redshirt year - heck, he might even be able to get a 6th year if he tried since he basically hasn't played since midway through his frosh season and now it's his junior year.

Tan Cream certainly seems to struggle with basic arithmetic, but let's not make it something it isn't. Three seniors, as noted above, plus Zeller is all but signed with an agent. I imagine we'll see some combination of Oladipo going pro, a transfer (Etherington seems most likely), or a recruit squeezed out before signing day (perhaps Hartman).
It's unsavory, but this is what it looks like when you run with the big dogs. And as a reminder, let's remember Urban's frank conversation with Rod Smith this offseason. Unfortunately, I'd say the behavior of the Creens and Meyers of the world is likely closer to the rule than the exception when talking major college sports.

The bottom line is even if Zeller turns pro (his brother Tyler stayed 4 years even when he didn't have to) Crean is going to have to finagle a way to get a couple guys to not enroll or leave the team even if they don't want to. Basketball is basketball and football is football. I can't think of another college basketball coach who has done what Crean is going to do to his own recruits. Feel free to provide an example of a coach who has signed 2 more players than he has graduating and/or is expecting to turn pro. I don't buy for a second that anyone other than Zeller is turning pro early.

I mentioned the Rod Smith situation as that's about as candid as I've ever heard a coach discuss such a thing. Be it football or basketball, that level of pressure is placed on underperforming players every day. That's the nature of the business.
I do think if Crean continues to over-recruit players, it'll come back and bite him in the ass, especially in-state. But then again, when you're recruiting top 20 players, I doubt they'll be concerned with the feelings of some second-rate Damon Bailey. At the end of the day, it's obviously about winning. Hoosier fans will gladly overlook these peccadillos if it means hanging banners. If loses start to pile up, these tactics will quickly become a concern.

When you have 13 or so players who were all highly rated and only 5 can start, you probably couldn't keep a couple of them from transferring even if you wanted to. There exists the real possiblity 6 or 7 others being extremely unhappy with their playing time. Transfers may be inevitable, think Weatherspoon and Sibert for Ohio State here.

Noah Vonleh declares for NBA Draft, reportedly has lottery guarantee
Indiana's Noah Vonleh told CBSSports.com on Sunday that he will enter the 2014 NBA Draft.
"It's going to suck leaving college without an NCAA Tournament," Vonleh, a 6-foot-10 freshman, said by phone. "But I have to do what's best for me."
Vonleh averaged 11.3 points and 9.0 rebounds this season for the Hoosiers, who missed the NCAA Tournament for the first time since 2011. NBA sources have told CBSSports.com that he's guaranteed to go in the lottery, and that the top five of the draft is a possibility.
"I've heard the fourth pick to the 12th pick is wide open," Vonleh said. "[I think I'll be selected] anywhere in that range."
