23.75 yds per touches 1 TD/2.3 touches

Again this will be the second year in a row he will lead
the nation in yds per touch but will not qualify because
7 of these 12 games he only played 2 Qtrs and did not get
enough carries. 33.5 Yards Per Catch!!!

Close to commitment? Timmons talks OSU

Ryan Timmons continues to show strong interest in Ohio State but said a commitment to the Buckeyes isn't planned for the immediate future. The ESPN 300 athlete will take his third trip to Columbus this weekend for the Michigan game.

"No, not until my mother sees it," the four-star prospect from Frankfort (Ky.) Franklin County said about possibly committing during the trip. "She won't be coming with me this weekend."

11W - Catching Up with Ryan Timmons: The Game Visit

How did you like your visit to Columbus to see The Game?

It was great. The atmosphere was great. It's one of the best places to play noise-wise. It was also one of the best games I've ever been to. The rivalry is great.

Did you get to talk to any of the coaches?

I talked to the coaches for a little bit. I didn't talk to Coach Meyer long; I just said hi. I talked to Coach Hinton a lot. I didn't stay too long after the game.

What have the coaches been telling you about an offer?

They call me about once every week. I think they will start calling more because the season is over. Hopefully next time we talk it will be more about a potential offer.

Where will you be taking your official visits?

I've already taken officials to Arkansas and Kentucky. Those schools are getting new coaches and I want to see who they hire. Both of their seasons have ended so I hope to start hearing things soon. I'm going to Illinois this weekend and will take an official to Ohio State, but I'm not sure when. I'm not sure where I'll take my fifth official.

When would you like to make a decision?

Hopefully when I see which way Ohio State goes. If they offer, it would definitely change some things. If not, I will probably decide in January.

What would an Ohio State offer mean?

It would mean a lot. I could see myself playing there. I like that school a lot. It would definitely change my leaders and stuff.

How do colleges want to use you?

All schools like me as a slot receiver and as a guy that can motion into the backfield.

ESPN 300 ATH headed back to OSU for mom

Ryan Timmons has seen enough of Ohio State to know he wants to learn much more.

The ESPN 300 athlete from Frankfort (Ky.) Franklin said he will take his official visit to Columbus in January. The goal will be to learn more about the Buckeyes' facilities and academic support.

The four-star prospect was in Columbus on Saturday to see the Buckeyes beat Michgian. Ohio State finished the season 12-0.

Louisville Courier-Journal - High school prospects, coaches praise UK?s hiring of Mark Stoops

Franklin County star wide receiver Ryan Timmons, a top in-state target of Phillips? staff, said he looks forward to researching Stoops? background and planned to contact him in the coming days.

Timmons said he?s happy to see UK?s coaching situation finalized. The Cats, Arkansas and Purdue are three schools he?s strongly considered that are all undergoing coaching changes. Another school on his list, Ohio State, is yet to make an offer. He visited Columbus on Saturday and could have an assistant coming to see him on Friday, he said.

Agreed 1000%
And the crazy part is how many yards he gets on so few touches. Duke Johnson, the star frosh for Miami had over 100 more touches and similar yards but fewer tds. Timmons is a baller

I have a feeling Ryan ends up in this class, which I think will turn out nice for the Buckeyes. If Strong is able to keep Quick with him regardless of where he goes, or Shelton has grade issues, he just might get a spot. Ryan is a play maker, just a tad behind in pecking order.
