Why does this matter? LBJ is not a Buckeye and has not ever been one. He wouldnt even give a darn about TOSU if we werent good. He is just as much a Kentucky fan as he is a Buckeye fan. He deserves the boos so I dont see anything wrong with it. If Chris Walker doesn't choose Ohio State because LBJ gets booed, then so be it. He didnt really want to go to Ohio State then.

Booing LeBron James at a Buckeyes game says absolutely nothing about LeBron but quite a bit about the person who's booing.

I agree that having LBJ in the Schottenstein Center is helpful from a recruiting standpoint, which is the purpose of this subforum. Hope we get Walker, because he looks like a good one.

It says something about how Ohio feels about Lebron. I could care less how the booing impacts recruiting. That's silly nonsense that only obsessive recruitniks would even think to worry about.

Why do you think Calipari is making such an effort at keeping a close connection with LBJ?

Face it, young ballers like LBJ and some are infatuated with him. Assume for a moment that Walker was at the OSU-Duke game. After reading his comments about LBJ do you think he would have walked away impressed with the Ohio State fan base?

LBJ worked out with the team this summer and knows the players by names...think that might impress recruits?

Two of the best basketball recruiters in the country, Matta and Calipari, are wooing LBJ. Yeah...I guess they are silly too.

Can we get this back on track of discussing what a great recruit Chris Walker is, and how much we want to see him in scarlet and gray? Plenty of other places on this site where whining about LBJ is more appropriate.

And that's fine. I'm not going to change my reaction to the guy just because he might have an impact on recruits. He is who he is... and it's not something I care to pretend to respect.

How about any two recruits? Tony Parker is friends with LBJ. Who knows how many more? Lebron is going to have some influence on a lot of recruits. Matta knows what he's doing trying to keep Ohio State out of the LBJ hate-fest. Boo Lebron all you want in Cleveland. I'll take the overall good of the Buckeye program over more worthless jabs at LBJ in Columbus.
