OSU landed its two star 2010 bigs in 07.
OSU landed its first two 2008 verbals in 05.
Elijah isn't doing anything abnormal. Your issue is with the system, not him.
MililaniBuckeye;1483507; said:I don't have an "issue". And it being "common" doesn't always mean it's the best way. I just think committing three years in advance is too early, period. I haven't been following the bball forum much lately, but didn't we just have someone decommit that was an early commit?
EDIT: Cam Wright, class of 2010, who committed in 2007, "re-opened" his recruiting in April.
Macon and his Marion-Franklin teammates will be among about two dozen high school teams participating in Ohio State's team camp Friday and Saturday on campus. Wonder if Thad Matta can change Macon's mind? Northland also will be at the camp but without Jared Sullinger, who will be at the NBA Players Association Top 100 camp in Charlottesville, Va.
-- An elite camp designed to acquaint high-level prospects with Ohio State's facilities is being advertised for July 2 in Value City Arena, but Matta said the program is not involved in sponsoring it. The 6-hour camp is for ninth through 11th-graders. No word yet on who will attend; the camp organizer did not respond to an e-mail requesting a roster.

Has re-opened recruitment, I don't have premium so if someone else would like to add something feel free.
