You are not talking about Tyrann Mathieu are you? He is like 5-10 180...

I thought he was bigger than that, I could easily be wrong, I'm no LSU fan and have only seen him play a few times. But he was the first person I thought of when I was looking at Caleb. Could just as easily be a WR though.

I think and hope Verlon Reed may be that guy next year.

I thought Reed was more of a possession, find open space and move the chains wr. Not one that will stretch the field and burn dbs. I see only brown and Devin Smith as having that burner speed. Caleb would be a welcomed addition, and hopefully Jones too

that's being generious. he's really like 5'9"/175
That's what it says in the program for Mathieu... so he's probably 5'7 160... just so happens he plays just like Antoine Winfield.. who was probably an OK player...

and if Caleb=Winfield...

Class of 2012 recruiting projections

23. WR Joel Caleb, Clover Hill (Midlothian, Va.)

Considering: Clemson, Florida, Ohio State, Virginia Tech, West Virginia

Prediction: Virginia Tech. Caleb made multiple unofficial visits to Blacksburg, and it appears Virginia Tech -- and assistant coach and recruiter Shane Beamer -- have the inside track for the 6-3, 203-pound wideout. Hokies' faithful may have to wait to find out, though. Originally scheduled to commit at the U.S. Army All-American Bowl, Caleb now seems prepared to hold out until National Signing Day.
