Moeller WR Monty Madaris schedules three official visits

Moeller senior WR Monty Madaris has scheduled three official visits, according to Moeller coach John Rodenberg.

Madaris plans to visit Michigan State this weekend. He plans to visit UC the weekend of Dec. 17.

Madaris will take an official visit to Michigan after Christmas break ? sometime in early January, according to Rodenberg.

Rodenberg said he?s been in contact with Ohio State regarding Madaris.

Madaris, a Division I first-team all-state selection, was the Southwest District offensive player of the year this season. He had 56 receptions for 1,137 yards and 16 touchdowns. He also had 280 rushing yards and two touchdowns.

Plan B in case Diggs, Neal, Caleb go elsewhere?

There was speculation on another thread that a specific recruit might have some problems making the grade. I wonder if this might have something to do with Madaris finally getting some attention. I won't mention the kids name but thought I would bring it up. Timing is about right since many kids are either back in school or getting ready to start based on semester grades.

Ohio State back in the picture recruiting Moeller WR Monty Madaris

Moeller senior WR Monty Madaris is receiving interest again from Ohio State, according to Moeller coach John Rodenberg.

Madaris has taken official visits to UC and Michigan State and plans to visit Michigan the weekend of Jan. 13. He also plans to visit Kentucky sometime this month.

Madaris said Dec. 3 he had been speaking with Ohio State's coaches and that the Buckeyes were on a list he was considering. Rodenberg said Dec. 12 Ohio State was full at the wide receiver position, but now the Buckeyes are showing interest again.

We should have been going after Cincinnati for a while. Its crazy that we haven't went after more Cincinnati kids, I thought a number of them were osu caliber but tressels staff never seemed to show much interest. I hope urbans crew can pull some kids from yhr gcl and GMC.
