The way Stanford is going... if I was elite enough to go to a top BCS program I'd go out there too.

1. Academics
2. Good football
3. And as a personal preference... I much prefer a location close to the mountains and ocean versus flat land.

Completely agreed. Taking the scarlet colored glasses off, go to Stanford. Academics, good football, weather, and close to the mecca for your desired major.

It's a great area to live. I lived there on two occasions for about a total of
15 years. Can't go wrong w/Stanford and the Palo Alto area.

Academically, Stanford is a great choice. I'm curious to see if the program can stay on track without Harbaugh and Luck past this year.

Agreed on all accounts. Odenigbo could be a center piece in their defense, and he would be choosing the program for all of the right reasons. Hard to selfishly argue against his choice if it is Stanford.

You mean unselfishly argue, anyway it's amazing how gracious we can be when we're not desperate, and Michigan is not involved.

The young man is making his decision for the right reasons instead of a Cam Newton..Reggie Bush situation..I will always respect that..

His mom is a Dr, so academics are most definitely the driving force behind his college choice. Best of luck to this young man, because he seems like he has a bright future on and off of the field.
