This was Turners 2nd trip to Va. Tech but his 1st chance to get an in depth tour of the campus & facilities... He came away impressed & said it had a home-like, comfortable feeling... Va Tech & UNC are his top 2 followed closely by OSU, WVU, & Georgia... The OSU staff is supposed to be getting back to him soon to let him know if they're offering... He hasn't heard from Georgia in a while... Plans to decide before the season begins...

From the VPI site...enjoyed his visit to Va Tech...talks about what he is checking out when he visits a school...top in order is Virginia Tech, North Carolina, West Virginia, Ohio State and Michigan State.

Moving this one back...word he is he still wants that OSU offer...

From the UNC site...says he enjoyed his visit to UNC last weekend...says UNC is definitely one of his favorites...top five is UNC, Virginia Tech, West Virginia, Ohio State and Michigan State (favors UNC and VT at this point).

I know the staff has their reasons for not offering guys like Harley, since he's obviously talented but just doesn't fit the scheme we're looking for. Anybody know the reasoning for not offering a guy like Turner? I know we already took a couple guys on the line, and we're still planning on guys like Walker and Mangiro, but I'd think after the drought we went through last year on the OL, a star like Landon would most definitely have an offer from us, especially considering the fact that he's clearly after one.

We are recruiting Turner. Maybe an offer if he comes to camp so they can get a good look at him. The staff probably has their board pretty well set and with three OL's committed and A Walker most likely on the way.

OSU has 3 OL committed with a 4th expected verbal in Walker. Underwood could play on defense, but for the sake of tight numbers he counts towards the OL. Hopefully Turner comes to camp and blows their socks off.
