Still open but has Clemson, Georgia, Florida, USC and North Carolina standing out right now. tOSU is now starting to recruit him.


This kid is special. He capped a stellar junior season with a state championship game upset over Byrnes. A.J. Green comparisons are flying around the state.
 
ThaRingers Kevin Ledford has interviewed Peake & has contacts close to the situation. His take is that Clemson has a huge lead & that distance from home will be a major factor. Peake is very close to his mother & family. His mom has said that even Florida is too far away (Gainesville is about 60 miles closer than Columbus).

We'll try to reach out to him for another update & report any news asap.

Clemson is definitely in the driver's seat but its so early...

Yeah, but Clemson has a heckuva recruiting staff. They rarely lose the players that favor them, especially in SC.
Btw, What's our track record with kids from SC? I don't recall too many in the Tress or even Coop eras

Derek Ross and Aram Olson ae the only 2 that I can think of off the top of my head. Im sure there is more, but Im at work and dont have the time to look them up!
