Offer came today, and Dondi was quoted as saying "the OSU offer and visit are the best so far."

* Considered an OSU strong lean and does not plan on deciding until late in the process.

As Smith pointed out, Gateway being former home to Dorian Bell and Corey Brown.

Plays primarily CB, so probably should be slated as an ATH.

Offers piling up for Dondi Kirby

On Friday, Kirby made his way up north to visit Ohio State University. On a visit not known to even the most devout Buckeyes fans, Dondi Kirby was handed an offer by the coaching staff asking for his services. Sufficed to say, Mr. Kirby was impressed. "It was lovely up there [Columbus] and definitely the best school I've been to by far! It is amazing. They are recruiting me as a cornerback, but I play a lot of positions. Corner is my main position though."

Added to the Friday Ohio State offer are other offers coming in from the likes of West Virginia, Illinois, Pittsburgh, Michigan, Maryland and North Carolina. With new offers weekly, a list of top schools is in constant motion, but Kirby was able to talk about his other preliminary offers and what impressed him the most.

Not saying they are similiar players but I think you could look at this offer in the same way as former teammate Corey Brown. I have seen him twice and I would be suprised not to see him get his reps on the D side of the ball. Not that the young man is not a great talent on the other side, but as wad pointed out, having the hips is not so easy to find in any player especially a player 6-2" - 6-3" range.

By The Bank....Talks about receiving the Ohio State offer & his recent visit, as well as knowing Dorian Bell & Corey Brown. Up to 13 offers now, including Ohio State, Michigan, Maryland, Minnesota, North Carolina, Illinois, Pittsburgh & West Virginia. Will be visiting Maryland this weekend and plans on taking all of his visits before making a decision.
