Angelo Mangiro One of the top offensive lineman in the country gets a back-breaking, 9-to-5 wake-up call during the summer.
Angelo Mangiro has the perfect football size, at 6-foot-4 and 295 pounds. He has two older brothers who made him tough in backyard games and pushed him in the weightroom.

And he has the accolades. He's rated as the No. 4 guard in the nation by Scout.com and has scholarship offers from the likes of Penn State, Ohio State and USC.

But the North Jersey kid who grew up rooting for Joe Paterno and Penn State still could use a lesson or two.

So each summer he goes to work with his father, a mason.

"I'm usually the guy who has to carry the sand buckets and lay the brick and stuff," Angelo Mangiro

said. "It's hard work, but I get paid for it.
"It's good for me. It's like a workout in itself, and it definitely teaches you values, that nothing comes easy and nothing is guaranteed.

"I do like working with my hands, but I see how hard my dad works and how beat up he is now. I like doing it now to learn the trade, but I don't want to be doing that for a career."
