'10 VA PF Joshua Hairston (Duke Verbal)

Hairston is leaning towards making an early decision and hopes to make a decision during the summer or before his season starts. Hairston mentions making another trip to Ohio State stating he enjoyed his time in Columbus and wants to make another visit before making a final decision.

I think we will hold out to get a feel on Hairston's recruitment before we move on to Payne, or if Payne impresses them enough that they offer and take the first to commit...

If we take another guy this year, I think we will only be able to take one in 09 if we want Payne or Hairston.

We are at 11 right now when KK declares...

If we take juco with 2 years they are gone by 10' class...Harrellson/Simmons fits this...

Then I think that most would agree that Buford and Mullens are gone by 10'...and maybe Turner...

And we would also have Madsen, Lighty, and Hill as graduating so that that leave 6 open on top of the extra one we will have open this year...So 7 open for two years...We take 2 next year and we have 5 open for 10'...

Unless we lose one to the APR...

No way do I see Turner leaving early. I know that he can vastly improve over the next 2 years but if he leaves early I think it will be a mistake. We shall see.

The APR still concerns me if both Buford and BJ leave early. I realize that BJ is history after one but miracles have happened:)

Mullens is gone....period. Game over.

Turner will raise his game this year.....mark it down.....we will be sweating his decision this time next year in my opinion.

Buford....jury is still out.

Now.....back to Hairston who I love but think we will come out second in this race...

Want to comment on the last one...If that happens then it is on to Payne...

They will probably meet All Ohio Red in the finals, or at some point and I am sure there will be a report or two...

From the Duke site....Talks about his interest in Duke. Says Virginia Tech, Georgetown & Ohio State are recruiting him the hardest. Says he is wide open at this point and plans on making a decision by the beginning of his senior season.
