One of the top guards in the Southern part of the country. High school has produced a high number of high-major players. Young man can score and go off the dribble. More comfortable as a scorer than as a runner of the team.

If there is a leader for his services, White Station senior guard Joe Jackson wasn't ready to announce it Tuesday.

However, the highly regarded point guard prospect said he has narrowed his college decision to three schools.

"Memphis, Kansas and Tennessee," the 5-11, 160-pound Jackson said.

"I just sat down (Monday) and thought by myself, personally, what I really wanted to do and what school I really liked.

"I just put everything to the side and thought about where I really wanted to go and what three schools I could truly see myself playing for."

Jackson declined to discuss Tuesday whether he would make official visits to the three schools, although a Rivals.com report released Monday stated otherwise, saying Jackson planned to make official visits to Kansas and Tennessee.

"I don't know," Jackson said Tuesday when asked about potential visits.

Jackson, whom Rivals.com ranks the nation's No. 18 overall prospect in the class of 2010 and the No. 5 point guard prospect, had also drawn interest from Arkansas, Duke, Kentucky, Marquette, Ohio State and Stanford.
