"Do you think they backed off because it was made clear that James was all ND? "
DL's reply to this and other various questions:
"That would go against everything I was hearing about James. I was telling a good friend who knows line play like no other just in the last few days that I had been scrutinizing lineman closer recently and I was not as high on James but I am talking from a 5 to a 4.5, not from a 5 to not Buckeye caliber. . ."
"I could get right with a Donnal offer. That would be the right tonic for what ails me. That is the other side of this. The stock of Norwell, Hurst and Donnal went up when I broke them down, and Donnal is the left tackle of the bunch. Not as high on Schofner either. . .
I am going to have to have to go back to my original opinion of James. After I posted on the blog that I was not as high on James, someone IM'ed me and asked if I was using Mark Porters video. I said yes. The poster asked if I noticed that Marks was sophmore tape. I had not. I was pointed in the direction of the Rivals junior film and the Youtube film that I had forgotten about. I am back to seeing a five-star player for James. He is coming off the ball better than he was in the sophmore tape and he is showing more drive at the point of attack. . .
"Not worried if we can get Henderson, Hurst or Donnal.
Just give me one and I will shut up."
