I'm not sure what to think about this.

I'm with you. I thought he was next in line on the OL board and feel like he must not have had that impression for him to pull the trigger already. Though he may have just wanted to get it over with for whatever reason. He would have been a nice option for a late offer.

Regardless, +1 on RB07OSU

Great get for Iowa and a good choice on Andrew's behalf...Iowa is a great place for an OL like Andrew to go. Like I said at the beginning of the thread, every year we have a Chris Freeman or Zebrie Sanders we don't offer and I saw Donnal being that "guy" this year. Here's to a great career for Andrew though.

WHITEHOUSE, Ohio - Like Terrelle Pryor, Beanie Wells and Tim Tebow before him, Anthony Wayne's Andrew Donnal will play in the U.S. Army All-American Bowl.

The senior offensive lineman was chosen for what is commonly known as the nation's most prestigious high school football all-star game. A committee chose the 90 top high school football players in the country.

Donnal certainly fits the bill.

It was hard for anybody not to notice the six-foot-eight giant play left tackle for the Generals over the years. That included a bevy of colleges. Donnal will be playing at the next level at the University of Iowa, selecting the Hawkeyes over a group that included Michigan State and Boston College.

Donnal among the nation's finest
