#10 Loyola Chicago vs #7 tOSU, Fri 3/18, 12:15 ET on CBS

Meh. I was going to hell long before this.

I'll save you a seat at the bar.

Well, I just looked at 16 different “expert” brackets across 2 sources (SI and CBS, 8 each). We are by far the most predicted to lose, with only 4/16 picking OSU. Next were Texas and USC with 6/16.

That’s exactly the kind of time OSU wins too…

No doubt CH loves being the underdog and having extra motivation. Of course, it's better to not put yourself in a position where no one believes in you in the first place, but then you wouldn't have been able to use your litany of excuses to justify never really achieving much.

As usual you'll be here if they lose but will "mysteriously" disappear until you can be negative again.

Confidence abounds among Loyola players and coaches too. Ramblers guard Lucas Williamson told reporters Sunday that the team feels as if it's exactly where it wants to be as it prepares to go dancing.

“It’s just a great feeling, especially with this being my last year,” Williamson said, via The Chicago Tribune. “This is exactly where we want to be. It’s a great feeling to finally have an opponent and get back to work.”

Texas and USC might be the two least successful D1A schools in the history of the NCAA tournament. It never seems like a good bet to have them advancing to Round 2.

Looking for something to be optimistic about here. Better health. Better preparation. Good rest. Motivated by the doubters. We will have the best two players on the court (Liddell and Branham).

The biggest negative right now is just a lack of faith in Holtmann. Hope he proves us doubters wrong.
