*Loves the Ohio State offer! He isn't as close to keith as some might think. Tay transferred to Gainesville before this school year and keith was well on his way to osu. Tay is actually a pretty good baseball player as well. Very sweet swing! He may try to pull double duty this spring with baseball and track. I will get a chance to talk to him more the end of this month. There is actually a kid at my new school that I wish osu would get involved with...Conner Shaw! Solid athlete who can play multiple positions at the next level.
Gainesville?s Jones contemplates visit
After a weekend visit to Notre Dame and Ohio State, Gainesville wide receiver Tai-ler Jones was contemplating late this week whether to attend junior day at Florida or Georgia Tech on Saturday.
?It?s a tough decision,? said Jones, who said he planned to get input from his father before making up his mind. ?Georgia Tech is a school that has already offered, so I want to go down there, get a look at their school, see the campus and meet all of the coaches.
?But Florida hasn?t offered yet. I?d be able to get a good look at them and their campus and be there in case they do offer.?
The 6-foot, 175-pound Jones, whose most recent offers came from Notre Dame and Michigan State, received an in-school visit from Florida running backs coach Kenny Carter on Wednesday.
