THAD MATTA IS THE GREATEST COLLEGE RECRUITER EVER!!! Great pick-up for ohio state basketball. We are truly living in the golden years of Ohio State Athletics. We are so lucky to be able to watch these teams that these coaches put together. Again, THANK YOU ANDY GEIGER for bringing JIM TRESSEL AND THAD MATTA TO THE OHIO STATE UNIVERSITY!!!

Lived up to the hype by dominating every game. Strong and explosive. Has a tremendous will to score. His shot has an unorthodox release but it?s still hard to knock. Overpowers opposing guards on the way to the rim and finishes at a high clip. Shows flashes of tremendous court vision and passing skills. Kentucky and Ohio State are among those recruiting him the hardest. A top 10 player in the class of 2010... at least.

Picture Thad Matta sitting around on a Friday afternoon thinking, "Well practice is over today maybe I'll go over and see how Tressel and the boys are doing. Tomorrow's a big game for them and I'm announcing the starting lineups. Hmmm maybe I'll call this kid from Georgia and see if he'd like to play for Ohio State first.
