7. Tennessee’s Floatilla
Is there a better way to get to a college football game?
6. The Grove at Ole Miss... An oasis in the normally uncivilized world of college football, the Grove is known for dressing up, drinking down, good food, and cream of the crop, Miss America caliber women.
After the game the losing team must stand and sing the winner's alma mater. They do it with sincerity. That has to say more about the quality of the schools and their teams than anything I can think of.3. Army – Navy game procession
The most endearing and emotional tradition in college football, the procession, also known as the “March-On” of the Army Corps of Cadets and Brigade of Midshipmen, is seen by many as more exciting than the actual game between Army and Navy. The pageantry of the procession is the perfect prelude to one of college football’s most heated, yet most sane, rivalries. It’s as good-natured as a rivalry can possibly be, with everyone in the stadium on the same team when all is said and done.
Boomer "Fucking" Soonerwhat exactly does it mean?
What do you expect when a school is too lazy to write their own fight song and so they borrow one from Yale? (Where it made no sense either.)While i think your heart is in the right place I must disagree, there is NOTHING more annoying than boomer sooner!!!

3. How about the nut job who dresses up like a Trojan and rides a horse around the Coliseum... talk about historical inaccuracies and mixed metaphors... ?
2. How about an entire band wearing plastic Roman helmets and pretending to be Trojans? A pack of condoms?
4. How about the midget with a bad beard who pretends to be "The Fighting Irishman?" Why hasn't someone brought up the PC issues involving Irish temperament and problems with alcohol?

1. But the most annoying thing in the world is the Michigan band playing The Victors... sigh, must at least admit it is a great fight song, if only it weren't theirs.
Nooooo way. Fine, you don't like The Victors, no big deal, but we don't play our fight song incessantly like the Trojans do. USC plays that awful thing to celebrate 1 yard runs on first down, or after a sack to congratulate the QB for not fumbling. And the USC fight song is neck-and-neck with scUM's for most annoying.
2) ever wonder why the Trojans(from the turkish city of troy) play their games in the Coloseum(presumably named after the roman stadium of the same name)?

The only fight song worse than USC's is MSU's. "Fight, team, fight fight fight."
my favorite part of the Sooner Schooner tradition is when the Miami Hurricanes mascot Sebastian made up a red wagon up like the schooner. then he set it on fire and dragged it around the endzone... that was all-time classic shit... i wish i could find a pic...I agree with most of what you guys are saying, but I'd like to add one more thing: I would really love to blow up the Sooner Schooner. The only thing more annoying than that thing is their fight song.
I think it's an impressive sight, but hardly a great tradition.Am I the only one that that thinks Wisconsin's jump around doesnt belong on this list?
