Rothman and his broadcast partner made predictions of 31-20 and 31-21 on the radio side before the game. I thought, how the hell are the Huskies scoring that many points on this defense?

We are good against the run. The secondary didn’t look great though.

I think L Styles got picked on but they actually played well for having to sit back and wait for the pass rush.

Before this game, I felt like the opposite was true.

It seems like maybe OSU just decided to sit back in zone and make Williams read the defense and beat them through the air. No big QB scramble plays, no broken coverage for long TDs and absolutely not going to let them run the ball all the way down the field. Williams definitely made some nice throws into the zone e, but once they got into the red zone, those holes in the zone shrank and he couldn’t do anything.

Vegas was pretty good with their initial 13 point spread. Sharps got fucked here betting hard on Washington. It takes a lot of money to move a spread 6 points. Was at 8.5 at kickoff so looks like a little money came in on the good guys at the end.

That reminds me. Desmond Howard predicted a Buckeye victory, but said Washington would cover. Hah, take the L Des.

I think this was a product of playing zone and being ready for the QB run. Every other game this year the secondary has looked good, with the exception of the busted Lorenzo play.

Game went about the way I expected. Played it close to the vest. Should’ve put more points up. I think they’ll be prone to open up more now that this game has passed. The next big game, they’ll start off passing.a lot more.

Great adjustments on defense. Didn’t expect to hold them without a TD.

Welp, looking back on this game, apparenly Sayin did what they planned to do, not get to aggressive, run the ball, control the clock as in the 2nd half.

Now, Patt Matricia has given up 22 points in 4 games, probably needs fired immediately if not sooner.

Yes they definitely changed up the game plan for the secondary in this one. We haven't really seen a tissue soft zone D like that all year till this point

Defense limited UW to 2.0 ypc, had 9 TFL and 6 Sacks totally dominating the Husky's Offense. On Offense we mostly stopped ourselves. Wish we would have opened the playbook up more but overall did a solid job in a hostile environment. On to Minny!
