Game Thread #1 tOSU at Washington, Sat. Sept. 27th, 3:30 ET, CBS

.... a pass to #4 doesn't need 30 seconds to get you 7

I don’t think UW is just going to sit back and let OSU toss a bomb to #4. The only really explosive play was when they caught them in a blitz. When the Huskies have sat back, there hasn’t been anything deep.

who said bombing it to him... little crossing route from 20 yards out only took about 5 seconds.....

Well we had 3 possessions.

Should’ve scored on the first drive, fumble the ball on the return, get stopped eventually, and then touchdown.

No coincidence we start throwing the ball and then we score. Just let Sayin operate man… obviously keep running the ball too but we need more first down throws.

This UW team other than penalties is playing well though. Anyone else noticing how nasty our OL is? Montgomery body slammed some guy on our first offensive play, tons of finishing guys into the grown.

Physically we seem to be taking a toll on them.

Our defense is playing great. More of the same in the 2nd half please. Red Zone problems on offense once again and the Innis punt return fumble on the Husky 20 yd line is what hamstrung us in the 1st half.

Need to open up the playbook on offense in the second half. On short yardage CJ needs to bend his knees and lower his shoulder. Standing straight up is a hindrance and I'm surprised Lock hasn't corrected that already.

I don’t think UW will be running the same defense. We’ll just have to agree to disagree. I thine it’s far more likely OSU makes a costly mistake on ST or offense than get a score there.

Yep injuries are pilling up for them from our guys just being bigger and stronger

For as bad as Ohio State (offense and punt return team) we are lucky to go into the locker room with the lead. The offense needs to come out in 2nd half, take the kickoff, and make a "statement".
I wouldn't even say the offense has been "bad" so far. Running game has been good and Sayin is completing most of his passes and not making mistakes. I'd say the play calling needs an adjustment. And 4th and 1 in the red zone seems to be our kryptonite the past two games.

On those 4th and 1s I'd like to see Bo in there. Donaldson seems like he just tries to run into the line in hopes of moving it forward.
