To be brutally honest I'm not sure Illinois is actually better than Washington. Indiana is the only team remotely comparable to the Buckeyes the Illini have played...and we see how that went.I really think the Washington game was a huge experience for the young bucks. Their offense is light-years better than Texas imo. They're a good team and came back from 20 down on the road against a decent Maryland squad. But yes Illinois looks to be a team not to be taken lightly, and will again be on the road. Hopefully there won't be hurricane force winds.

I’d be interested in hearing more as someone that didn’t get to watch it. It looked brutal on paper
Yeah, my biggest concern is the weather. Hopefully, that won't be an issue.I hate that damn wind tunnel stadium. It causes some weird shit everytime
Yeah. I wasn't joking. If your secondary plays a good game you'll be fine.Illinois seems to have a capable offense. Perhaps the best OSU has faced to date.
Their defense on the other hand is down in the 80's rankings wise so on par with Minnesota (roughly).
I'd put this as an OSU -18 or so on a neutral field.
And they ended up being short 6 guys in the secondary in the second half, with injuries and targeting,There was a ton of random/volatility in that IU game vs Illinois. I wouldn't read too much into that.
Lots of points off ST, turnovers and short fields.
We won in 2011?I was there for the loss in 2011 and will never forget the death march back to Atlanta. I wouldn't mind seeing 100 rung up on the Fighting Bielimi.
And if it’s calm and clear the offense can carve up the Illini defenseIf you have crazy wind or poor weather it could force us to run which has not been our strength
