Game Thread #1 tOSU at Illinois, Sat. Oct. 11th, 12 pm ET, FOX

I try not to bitch too much because this is still much better than what I've seen for most of my life, but this Illinois team is the most annoying, least satisfying 5-1 team I've ever seen. The O line sucks, the defense is awful, we've been bailed out by forcing some turnovers and being able to throw the ball decently, except for when, you know the plane flew into the mountain at Indiana.

I don't see any universe where this game is even close. This has to be one of the most lopsided top 25 matchups on paper ever.

Since tejas has proven to definitively not be back, this should be the first real test of the season.
I really think the Washington game was a huge experience for the young bucks. Their offense is light-years better than Texas imo. They're a good team and came back from 20 down on the road against a decent Maryland squad. But yes Illinois looks to be a team not to be taken lightly, and will again be on the road. Hopefully there won't be hurricane force winds.

Ohio State More Than A Two-Touchdown Favorite Over Illinois

After the Buckeyes opened as 13.5-point favorites over the Fighting Illini before the season, the spread has since increased. Ohio State is now listed as more than two-touchdown favorites over Illinois, as DraftKings has OSU as a 16.5-point favorite and FanDuel lists the Buckeyes as 15.5-point favorites over Illinois. FanDuel has the over/under set at 48.5.

Yeah, the wind tunnel factor will play right into Bert's hands.
