#1 Ohio State 67, #2 Georgetown 60 (Final)

I would like to see Oden smash Hansbrough but you can bet he'll foul out in that game. There's no way a game with UNC will be officiated fairly in ACC country against Ohio State. Oden vs. Hibbert is like a war between two Titans. I haven't gotten to see G'town play earlier this season so I'm not sure how we match up with them otherwise. A rematch with UNC would definitely be a test.

Who cares we're in the Final Four!:groove:

Freshmen Oden, Conley fulfill Final Four dream

By Seattle Times news services

SAN ANTONIO ? Back when Mike Conley Jr. and Greg Oden were precocious high schoolers dominating the AAU circuit, they were advertised as the ultimate package deal.
Coaches in gyms from Hackensack, N.J., to Las Vegas whispered to each other that Conley, a jitterbug point guard, and Oden, a dominant center, could walk on campus and lead a team to the Final Four.
In a sport where summer hype rarely translates to March reality, Oden and Conley took Ohio State to its first Final Four since 1999 on Saturday afternoon, dominating the game from their respective positions and showing just how much of an impact freshmen can have in this new era of college basketball.

UNC strikes me as the bigger worry solely because of the x-factor of brendan wright and they drive to the basket and create fouls which is obviously a problem......however we are very much the same and can do the same to them. their wright is our hunter, their hansbrough is our oden, their terry is our lewis, their etc is our etc.(although we are obviously better:biggrin: ). it would be another interesting matchup. i see free throws as being the defining factor of this tourney but if we end up like we did against memphis i feel reaalllllll good.

Personally I would like to get another shot at UNC but I feel like we match-up better with UNC rather than Georgetown.

That's strange because as I was reading the threads I was thinking how much better we matched up against the Hoyas. I just think we could zone up against them better.

Rob Oller commentary: Beginning to see the light: four freshmen put on a show

Sunday, March 25, 2007 10:08 AM
By ROB OLLER

SAN ANTONIO ? The four freshmen stood on the floor of the Alamodome looking more relaxed than the drooping pieces of basketball netting tied to their Final Four caps.

Not one of the kids is older than 19, yet all of them looked like old hats wearing new hats.
We just won our way to Atlanta? So what?s for dinner?
This was how Thad Matta?s magical recruiting class was supposed to look all along, but not until yesterday against Memphis had the quartet of Greg Oden, Mike Conley Jr., Daequan Cook and David Lighty collectively put their sterling reputations to good use in the NCAA Tournament.
