#1 Ohio State 63, Purdue 52 (Final)

I'd be less worried about the missed threes if the FG percentage was up to snuff. Right now Purdue is hitting .462 from the field, Buckeyes 13-38 for .342.

They need to make better use of their opportunities, then the only close stat would be the foul count.

tOSU looks like the don't even want to be playing.

Why are they not getting the ball to Oden more? You'd figure the last 10 mins of the game yesterday were proof enough that he needs far more touches.
Egos.
we are not going to run away with this. Pur shoots too well and we are not defending the three well enough.

No, just a very streaky shooting team...
that's what most average and some poor 3-point shooting teams are.

of the last 23 games, the team has had only 5 games with a 3-point shooting average of over 42%. of the last 7 games and the first half of this one, the team has a 3-point shooting percentage of 29%. for a team that averaged 17 3-point attempts over that span, the 29% figure is that much worse. finally, 5 of the 10 games with 3-point shooting over that 42% figure occurred in the first 7 games, with 4 of those good shooting games coming against terrible opposition.

At least half of the made field goals are lay-ins and put backs too (at one point 11 the 21 for the Bucks were 2nd chance).

Not hitting any perimeter shots, but still playing well. I like our chances .

Go Bucks!
