Now, my favorite 7 loss team has got to be Meatchicken, hands down.

i think its interesting that no one in this thread is giving USC much love. other than the OrSU game, they have demolished all comers. I'd say they are just behind Florida in my book. Whoever said a Florida v USC game would be amazing was right on.

Would Florida, Oklahoma, Texas, and others not also have demolished all comers (save perhaps OSU), but including OrSU?

I still have trouble putting USC above Oklahoma given who they lost to... I think SC may be better, but that is different than deserving or having earned a NC bid in my book.

that's why this thread is interesting. some people choose to interperit best as having earned a NC bid and others are trying to comment on who the best team is. I agree that USC shot themselves in the foot and didn't earn a bid, but that doesn't mean they can't be the best or second best 1 loss team. as for oklahoma, your argument makes a good point but it comes down to personal opinion.
