1-loss and in the NC game or no loss Rose Bowl?

you're supposed to choose whether being undefeated is worth it if you don't make the nc game.

No, I'm figuring in SOS and the computer polls into the equation. with OSU's SOS, and going undefeated in the Big10, they would be ranked no worse than 2nd. And that's probably only if either a Notre Lame team or perrennial power SEC team was also undefeated and also started higher in the polls. (per methomps)
I would definitely like our odds (and would be willing to back up this scenario with a friendly wager)

First, SOS doesn't make up near enough of the BCS component to make that much of a difference (it may enable us to jumo teams in the computer poll, but again the poll goes by points and not by position). Second, you can't count on our SOS being as strong this year or any other year.

im depressed for atleast a week when the bucks loose. an open ended question of saying we would loose one game makes it plausible (though highly unlikely) that the loss would come to scum. so i have to stick with the undefeated season. but just barely. id love nothing more than tOSU to win another nc. but the thought of going undefeated and beating texas in austin to tie things up, psu and laying the smack down on scum in the shoe as a fairwell to ts is far to appealing.
