#1 Indiana (straight up) at tOSU (ov/un 139.5) Sun 1 CBS

You think Indy will get points in this game?

I'm still waiting for the line, but I'd guess that tOSU will be favored by 1.5 points. But it will remain a straight up bet, regardless of the line.

• Matchup to watch: Victor Oladipo revs Indiana’s engine. Sam Thompson and Lenzelle Smith Jr. need to limit Oladipo’s impact on defense, in transition and on the offensive boards.

• Notable: Ohio State has played 121 consecutive games without back-to-back losses, the longest current streak in the nation. … Ohio State is 2-1 at home vs. No. 1 teams in coach Thad Matta’s nine seasons, beating Illinois in 2005 and Wisconsin in 2007 and losing to North Carolina in 2007. … Matta’s OSU teams are 6-1 at home against the Hoosiers. Indiana coach Tom Crean is 0-4 in Value City Arena. … Indiana and Ohio State rank second and fourth, respectively, in the Big Ten in field-goal percentage, and first and second in field-goal percentage defense.

• Next: Northwestern, 7 p.m. Thursday, Value City Arena

I appreciate Matta's loyalty to Lenzelle, but at some point he needs to make a switch to Q. Lenzelle just is not good at all against good competition:

Duke: 4/12 - 1/6 from three,
Kansas: 3/13 - 0/7 from three
Illinois: 3/9, 2/5 from three, 4 turnovers
Michigan: 1/4, 0/2 from 3, 4 turnovers
Michigan State: 2/7, 2/5 from three, 3 turnovers
Wisconsin: 2/4, 0/0 from three
Michigan: 4/10, 2/7 from three, 5 turnovers

And today it continues against Indiana. The sad thing is, he shoots very well from deep and has a high field-goal percentage against mediocre/bad teams. But you look at the shots he has missed today, and it isn't as if he had pressure in his face. It's just a big-game thing he can hopefully overcome. But he is just consistently terrible against good competition. It is no surprise to me that we just made a run with him on the bench. Q makes everyone else better even when he doesn't have the ball.
