I saw this forum while searching for some information on Anthony, researching a story I was working on, and just wanted to relay some information about Anthony and St. Pius X.
SPX competes at the highest level of private school football in the state of Texas. They are the two-time Division I state champions.
Fera is fantastic athlete. While I was visiting with the head coach a day or so ago he relayed a story about Anthony that I had forgotten about. But in the season opener against one of the public school teams (can't remember if it was 4A or 5A), the long snapper snapped one over Anthony's head and he had to scramble several yards just to pick up the ball, but not only did he grap it, but he scrambled to his left to evade a couple of would be tacklers and then punted the ball one-handed with his left-foot (he's a righty) and still managed to get 30-plus yards out of the boot.
His high school head coach said he was one of the best tacklers he had on his team.
He's already kicking 60-yarders off the ground (no tee) with consistency. He's going to be a good one!
I heard he got an invite to the EPSN All-Star game after his performance at the OSU camp.
