Wow, I immediately noticed the name right away. You guys want to know why?

He goes to the high school right around the corner from my apartment that I am currently living at. I'm finishing up my degree at Winthrop University in Rock Hill, SC.

I'm actually surprised with Ohio State giving him an offer because there was not much hype around Gilmore. He stands out as a decent scrambling QB that wins a lot of games with his playmaking ability, but nothing amazing.

Maybe Jim Tressel sees something more out of Gilmore than I can see. All I know is that I can check out more of South Pointe's games and see how he has improved over the summer. South Pointe is a brand new high school that just recently opened since Rock Hill as a town is getting bigger and two high schools wasn't enough to hold all of the students.

Stephon says he grew up watching tOSU because of Derek Ross. He may skip officials, but would visit Alabama, Tennessee, Ohio State and Clemson if he decides to take a few.
