From the VT site...talks about his visit to Balcksburg this past weekend...talks about what he likes about Virginia Tech. Visiting Miami, Florida and Florida State this week and may try to make it to Ohio State as well.

From the Auburn site...talks about his visit to Auburn last week and plans on returning for the LSU game. Talks about how similar the Auburn offense is to his high school's offense.

A reason why he thinks Auburn would be a good match...it would take him a little less time at Auburn to adjust to the system.

Personally I think that is a load of bull, was just reporting what the kid said...the learning curve is going to be the same no matter what college he picks.

Wow. That's something of a reverse course. I think most thought he was just about a Clemson lock. By the way, has anyone else noticed that Clemson has been bringing in some solid classes the past couple years? They could really be on the verge of something special, IMO.

Well, Urban told him that we were letting the rest of our WRs go, and that he was going to be our only WR for the next three years.

Boyd Working On Next Cut

WR Jheranie Boyd (6-3 185) of Gastonia, NC recently cut his long list of offers down to ten...Clemson, Florida, Florida State, Auburn, North Carolina, NC State, Missouri, Illinois, Oregon and Southern Cal. Soon, half of that list will be eliminated. "We'll narrow the list more early in the season to about five," Boyd's adviser Joseph Johnson said Monday night. Boyd indicated a couple of weeks ago that Clemson and Florida were at the top of his list. Johnson said the Tigers are Gators are strong, but by no means are they clear of the field. "He enjoys both of those schools," Johnson said. "But there are others he likes as well. I don't know if there's a clear cut favorite right now." Johnson said Boyd will get around to some of the area schools to watch practice in the weeks ahead depending on his own football scheduled. Clemson, North Carolina and NC State would be three of those visits.
