'09 NC PG John Wall (Kentucky Verbal)

As an 18 year old, Wall is an adult and knew what he was doing was wrong.
this is no excuse for what he did but I do hope that you know that he does not have a father and i hope you know that he has been thinking about going straight to the NBA from high school but promised his father he would go to college for one year. He has a lot on his mind and probably a lot of spare time also. The thing that surprises me is that the cops were able to catch him after seeing how quick he is on a basketball court:biggrin:

Yep. I also see no correlation between having a lot on your mind and trespassing or whatever they're calling it. 18 is more than old enough. This doesn't seem like that big of a deal, but still.

Kentucky recruit guilty of misdemeanor

RALEIGH, N.C. (AP) -- Kentucky recruit John Wall has pleaded guilty to a misdemeanor and entered a program for first offenders which could lead to having his record cleared.
Wall, 18, pleaded guilty Wednesday to breaking and entering.
Wake County Assistant District Attorney Phillip Cowan said that under the terms of the plea, Wall must complete 75 hours of community service, pay court costs and program fees and stay out of trouble for the next six months.
The 6-foot-4 point guard at Raleigh Word of God signed a national letter of intent to play at Kentucky last week. He was charged after police found him walking out of a vacant house in Raleigh. Wall and two other teenagers were cited.

Wall's eligibility in question - College - News & Observer

According to ESPN Renardo Sidney's eligibility is also in question...
Saw this on ESPN bottom line last night while watching the football game. It is interesting to note that it is their amateurism that is being brought into question and not so much about any NCAA violation. However, I would think that if they were ruled not to be amateurs they would not be able to play college basketball.

Anyone see the highlight of John leaping over the cheerleaders and the onto the table? Sick athlete...
I saw him play in a high school all-star game and while I don't put much stock into all-star games Wall Has to be one of the quickest, if not the quickest, player I have ever seen on a basketball court. It would not surprise me what he does athletically.
