'09 MI DT William Campbell (Michigan Signee)

They still are. Their spin is that he is just creating a little AA game "drama."

I hope it is not "creating drama" and not because he will have punked SCUM. (Although that IS a side benefit.) If it is the new thing for recruits to "eliminate" a school only to chose them a week later (ala Brandon McGee and Miami), I think following recruiting will become very taxing for me.

We think he is going to LSU. We'd rather he pick Da U if he isn't a Gator.
Couldn't blame him for that. LSU seems to churn out defensive lineman as good as anybody. I can't say I really care where he ends up, probably prefer Florida or LSU since we play Duh U twice in the next few years.

USAAB Campbell update... says Michigan is still among his equal top-5.

Looks like the arrival comments were a smokescreen...

from what I was told he was upset that admissions dropped the ball on his listing in the student directory with the early admissions. Problem is the university doesn't care, and is going by the book. Probably RR could have done something, but I doubt it, and that was probably relayed back to Will already, so it's a nonissue. I like it, kid was denied his moment by internet stalkers, so he gave them a big FU for now. People take recruiting way too seriously these days.....

Well, the last two saviors of Michigan football (Ryan Mallett in 2007, Sam McGuffie in 2008) each lasted exactly one season in Ann Arbor. I wonder if Big Will will have any better success for the Maize and Blue....
