'09 KY ATH Justin Green (Illinois Signee)

Chekwa isn't exactly the Hulk.

and perhaps an even better example

Antoine Winfield 5'9" 180 lbs.

it's not the size of the dog in the fight, it's the size of the fight in the dog, on offense or defense (but especially on defense)

it will be up to Green and the effort he puts in that will determine where he ends up playing at and how much he plays, just like anyone else

Let's consider the poster here before hustling further down this road. The example given (someone who almost never took a big hit) blows up the claim, yet he's treating it as inevitable.

From the Clemson site...will visit OSU this weekend, Clemson on 1/9, Alabama on 1/16 and either Illinois or Tennessee on 1/23. Says he will probably have a final decision on signing day.

Well, this does not come as a big surprise but definitely adds to the suspense with this kid. I hope he stays withe the Bucks. The fact he is a legacy should be enough, but sometimes you wonder.

For some reason that doesn't sound like 100% committed anymore.

How can he expect that he still has a spot locked up in the class if he intends to make a decision on signing day? IMO this should be treated just like other outstanding offers we have out there, and the scholarship should be still up for grabs

Everything I have heard is along the lines of he is taking the visits with the staff's blessing and just wants to make sure he made the right decision...I haven't heard anything yet that makes me think he will flip. But we shall see...

Justin could be the best player in our 2009 class the kid is mega explosive... If he wants to visit a few schools let him... He brother played at OSU and I would be really surpised if he ended up signing anywhere else. But at the end of the day if he wants to take visits its better to let him do that and to make sure then it is for him to have doubts and never take any visits.... Who knows maybe after this weekend he will decide he does not want to take any other visits. Or maybe he is just looking for a way to do some traveling and to get some free food, regardless he has a right to visit where ever he wants to.

I disagree with him playing on offense, Yes he's explosive but we have some guys that already explosive on offense(Lamaar Thomas, James Jackson, Jamaal Berry, Brandon Saine to name a few). I'd like to see his skills on defense, Lets not forget many very good offensive players in HS make great Defensive players in college and the NFL(Asante Samuel for the Eagles, Charles Woodson for the Packers, Sean Taylor former player for the Redskins, Will Hill for the UF Gators, the list goes on).
