Male's Justin Green has committed to Ohio State, but he's still getting calls from would-be suitors. "I don't want to be too stubborn," he said.

Justin Green said his phone is still ringing.

The Male High School senior standout has already committed to Ohio State University, but that's not stopping others from calling him.

The speedy Green is considered one of the top 100 prospects in the country and said he's "still a Buckeye."

So what is he telling the other schools?

"I tell them that I am still committed and know where I want to go to college," Green said. "But I still want to take a few visits to see what things are like."

Green has started the season with a bang and said he'll make visits this fall to Illinois, Tennessee and Kentucky. Louisville is also still in touch.

"I don't want to be too stubborn in this process," he said.

Green has 244 yards rushing and four touchdowns in two games this season. He's playing mostly linebacker on defense. The 5-foot-11, 178-pound Green projects to be a cornerback in college.

Green Including Clemson & USC In Visit Plans

By Phil Kornblut
DB Justin Green (5-10 180) of Louisville, KY said Wednesday night Clemson, USC and Illinois will be three of his official visits. He does not have any definite dates set though he's tentatively penciled in his Clemson visit for October 18th. Green said he's also thinking about Alabama, Tennessee, Kentucky and Louisville for other visits. Green has been committed to Ohio State and he said that commitment remains in place. He's made several trips to Columbus and doesn't feel the need, right now, to use an official visit with the Buckeyes.

as much as i get frustrated with our coaches at times they are definitely CLASSY.

:oh:

I agree with you but I love the approach. If a kid commits just to hold his spot, then pulls the rug out from under you during the last week of January, its far worse than letting him take visits, find out he made a hasty decision, and decommit in October. I think this method is paying off as tOSU doesnt seem too pushy, and completely confident in our product. Have fun Justin!!

DB Green Considering Official To Clemson

By Eric Guimaraes
DB Justin Green (5-10 180) of Louisville, KY spoke with Coach Brad Scott last week and says he is considering taking an official visit to Clemson around Thanksgiving. Green, who is committed to Ohio State, says Clemson is intriguing. "I watch them on tv and I like the style of defense they play," he says, "They look like they've got a great atmosphere to play in." Green says he will likely take all of his official visits but, other than considering Clemson, does not have any other schools in mind yet. This season, he has 28 tackles and five sacks at safety and has scored 11 touchdowns on offense. Eight of those were rushing and three were receiving. Ohio State remains his favorite.
