He is similar to Appleton imo but I like Evans better. He seems genuinely interested and doesn't seem a lock to stay instate. Also, I just realized he is a 5 star on Rivals, as an FYI.

Some people are sold on James Jackson but I am not. I watched Jackson's video on Scout. He looks really small. Yes, he is fast but he goes down with any kind of first contact. Evans does not. Evans break tackles and has a lot of yards after the catch.

Football: Inglewood's Evans still creating quite the buzz
There haven't been many updates on Shaquelle Evans recently, so I figured it was time to check in with the junior from Inglewood and see how the whole recruiting process has been going over the last month or so. Sure enough, there's plenty of new information.
Last time we heard from the 6-foot-2, 200-plus-pound receiver, he had 12 scholarship offers from Division I programs pending. That number has increased to 17, and according to these quotes, it appears as if Evans will visit one of his suitors, Notre Dame, in September.
Plans are in the works for trips to LSU, Michigan, Ohio State and Tennessee in the near future. UCLA and USC are among the other programs interested in Evans, who has said in the past that he'd like to make a verbal commitment before his senior season. Stay tuned for more updates.
