Interested in Notre Dame, Ohio State, Penn State, West Virginia, Maryland, Michigan, Ohio and Pitt.

I'm currently living in Marietta and have seen Josh play a few times. He is very good and I'll see what I can dig up on him throughout the season.

thanks...he seems to like WVU but has mentioned OSU to both Scout and Rivals sites. yet another great looking OL (probably offensive guard) prospect in the '08 class who seems to be very interested in OSU...

They'll be faced with one of the state's top line prospects in Parkersburg junior Josh Jenkins. Jenkins' older brothers, Billy and Paul Johnson, began their college careers at Ohio University. Billy transferred to Fairmont State.

Jenkins, who at 6-5, 295 pounds dwarfs most offensive linemen, is receiving interest from West Virginia University, Ohio State, Louisiana State University, Notre Dame, Michigan, Virginia, Wake Forest, Penn State and Pittsburgh.

Jenkins, who is leaning toward WVU as his college of choice, had 82 tackles, two sacks, five quarterback hurries and two fumble recoveries last year as the Big Reds reached the second round of the playoffs.

From what I've read Jenkins was one of the most impressive Olinemen in San Antonio. Brewster needs to get recruiting.

That is what seems to be so great about some of the guys that are looking like they are as close to looks as possible, they seem to be recruiting others to join them.

The block O is the main example. There have been reports that they have all talked about playing together(duh) then they talked to Womble and now Jenkins...

Should be interesting if they try to start talking to some guys like Hale, Pryor, Tate, and other guys that could make this class very special.

Ok now back to Jenkins...

I really like the potential of the Block O but Jenkins is the best O-lineman in the '08 class, IMO. He is a future first-rounder if there ever was one. I know OL are hard to project but this one is easier than most...he is dominant.

I trust your assessment on Jenkins as compared to the rest of Block O. As a result, I have to ask why he hasn't received an official offer from OSU yet?

Jenkins better than Brewster?

Wow.... I have to disagree. Brewster is easily the #1 C for next year, and he could probably be the #1 guard also.

Jenkins has every physical tool but he has not faced the same level of competition as the others. WV football is not strong overall.

Why is Brewster easily #1? I'm curious as to your assessment and criteria.

I think because he has been a WVU verbal for quite some time.

You might be right, but after watching ample film on both I think Jenkins could be the #1 guard in the country next year...if not the #1 DT.
