Unfortunately for Jenkins, fans are also jeering him for wavering on his decision about WVU.
Jenkins projects as an offensive guard in college, so when six-year WVU offensive line coach and state native Rick Trickett resigned to accept a job at Florida State, Jenkins decided that he might have been hasty.
"It wasn't all about Coach Trickett," Jenkins said. "I just committed a little bit too early. I'm still committed, it's not like I'm not committed.
"I want to make sure I make the right choice for Josh Jenkins."
That has brought on Jenkins' share of critics -- the die-hard WVU fans that insist that state players should remain where they are even after high school.
"I still care about what people think, but I don't care what people think, you know what I mean?" Jenkins said. "I'm the one who has to play football. I'm the one who has to practice in 90-degree weather."
And OSU fans don't do the same thing?
My thoughts exactly. GREAT summary for the Bucks there!BuckeyeNation27;902718; said:An official in December and more unofficials for games? That doesn't sound like the kid who is just visiting schools on their dime but still committed to WVU like the mountaineers will tell you. If he was just interested in visiting the place for free....he'd go during a game and not in cold cold December.
