'08 WV OL Josh Jenkins (West Virginia Signee)

Yeah, some Akronites(*cough*) may even have family in West Virginia...

My mother was born and raised in WV (Clendenin) and outside of her my grandmother & uncle the rest of that side of the family still resides there.

In fact mom & grandma are both graduates of WVU (while the uncle is an Ohio State alum).

I reserve the right to make fun of my kin. :p

Regardless of what decision Josh makes he is going to upset at least one fanbase. If he comes to Ohio State the WVU faithful will label him a traitor while if he sticks to his original decision and stays home some Buckeye fans will accuse him of playing games and leading OSU on.

Hopefully Josh will make the decision that is best for him and not one that is meant to placate a group of (often over involved) fans.

meow...pffffft....pffttt.

Anyway, this would obviously be good news and a big public step. We hoped/suspected it was coming but getting that out of the way frees him up to join block O...verbally...officially...whatever.

Josh should make it a package deal... Him and Pryor together...
but then Josh also gets to play GUARD on the basketball team too...

Josh leads down the lane... Terrelle comes behind for the layup

I also have lots of family in WV, although it's in Wheeling, which is really almost like Eastern Ohio. My dad is from Wheeling and much of his family still lives there, although two of his siblings were wise enough to move to Columbus. :tongue2:

Edit: in order to stay on topic, let me say that I think Josh would make a great addition to our team should he decide to come here.

By Lichtenfels. Confirms that car trouble was the reason he was not at the Ohio State camp. Plans on visiting Columbus in July with his mother. Also talks of a trip to Florida State around that very same time frame.

You have to like the comments made about the "contacts" he has.
