'08 OH WR/DB D.J. Woods (Cincinnati signee)

I know he reached out to PSU and was told the offer was off the table...not sure if he reached out to OSU but it wouldn't matter...the staff made it clear when he decommitted from Nebraska that they had already gone in a different direction.

Open up to Woods

I think OSU should look more at DJ he has kind of a B. Hartline route running with R. Small speed. And i get this kid doesn't know where he wants to go to school but this is a talent that needs to be looked after like ohio state does. OSU helps some talent and makes others look better than they are. Ken-yon Rambo and Drew Carter, the only reason why they got in the NFL was because of the speed coaches, and the past and current coaching staff. worst case he ends up being a Ken-yon Rambo type of player last time i checked that wasnt that bad while at ohio state

Sorry to disagree but...

1) The staff already evaluated DJ at WR and liked the 3 that they already had better. If they were going to get a 4th it was going to be someone they think of as a high ceiling guy like Floyd.

2) Part of what the staff is "selling" to recruits is the mystic of being a "Buckeye". IMO having a recruit beg for an offer then turns down the staff hurts that effort.
