True, but that did not happen after either camp... so it's somewhat of a wash. Not bad news, but would certainly like to see us as at least the temporary leader coming out of camp.

Agree....I don't see it as a negative, I was just hoping his experience at camp would be enough for him to make a move publicly.jwinslow;871861; said:True, but that did not happen after either camp... so it's somewhat of a wash.

Certainly it could still have had a huge impact on him and even cemented his decision...and he just isn't going public with it yet.
I'll chalk this up as no new news..and that isn't a bad thing.
He is high on my wish list for a number of reasons, not the least of which is the OSU-UM battle aspect of his decision.

seems to me he has a lot better chance of playing TE at OSU as we have no other legit TE targets this year and UM seems to be the one talking DE to him more.Glass City Buck;872224; said:He comes up to my store a lot and has that keychain around his neck, but I do not think that matters. I have heard from several sources close to the Whitmer team that they really think that he favors Ohio State a little more. I also understand that he has not heard much from Coach Carr, while Coach Tress calls him quite a bit. The one thing however he is concerned about is tOSU switching him to play DE. Seems like he wants to play TE. Take this with a grain of salt, but that is what I have heard from people close to him.
