I don't think it has anything to do with Gronkowski more than OSU's decision to offer Rudolph does. As for the timing, it simply may be that they had not had a chance to evaluate Moore until now. I wouldn't read anything into this offer other than that Clemson has decided to offer Moore.

By Duane Long...Brandon reports a solid ACT score and says he is hearing the most from Michigan, Clemson, Georgia and Mississippi.

Brandon is an extremely intelligent young man and will make a great student-athlete wherever he ends up.

He could definetly improve in his blocking ability but I think if he puts on some strength (he has a great frame to add some pounds), then I think he can be an effective blocker. Also keep in mind that with Rudolph, Stoneburner, and possibly the PA guy on our radar, he will likely have to come into camp and earn an offer imo.

He most likely won't be coming to camp, he won't have to, OSU should offer soon. He has a 22 ACT and over a 4. GPA. with several big time programs offering already.

Me either. The staff has seen Stoneburner in person and he impressed down in SA. Not to mention Dublin is right in the back yard. Add that to the fact that we already have Rudolph offered and he will have to probably go to camp first to get an offer. He could get an offer sooner than that but the people I have talked to at T-wood think he will need to hit up camp.

Stoneburner may not be a part of the TE equation though...there are other factors involved in this process. However, the progression of Dominick Britt may help Brandon's case...or it may close the door.

As a packaged deal or just in terms of someone getting the ball to him? It is true that Stoneburner could be a WR or WR/TE mix, but if we got him and Rudolph, I think the odds decrease significantly for Brandon to get an offer. Plus DeLillo is on the radar and some OOS guys I'm sure(one from PA.).

No not as a packaged deal, but there were rumored reasons that offer never went through to CJ Peake this year.

Hopefully Brandon and Dominick can change some of the rumored perceptions of Trotwood-Madison.
