'08 OH RB/LB Devoe Torrence (Akron signee, transfer to ??)

Just watched his film over at Scout and Torrence is AMAZING! Unbelievable lateral acceleration for such a big guy, great vision, great hands, great speed for a 185 lb. guy, let alone 215, and has that burst you want in a RB. He also looked very impressive at LB but I think I'm on the RB train now...turns out the coaches new something I didn't  .

TORRENCE TRANSFER

Now that Canton South linebacker-running back DeVoe Torrence has verbally committed to Ohio State, his next choice is to pick a high school. Last month, Torrence said he was looking at transferring to Massillon. That would require a move into the Massillon City School District. We're told such a move could happen, or Torrence will establish residency in Massillon near the end of the current quarter.

TODD PORTER

MASSILLON Tom Stacy has to apologize to no one. Of course, Massillon's head football coach knows a gift was dropped into his lap.

He knows DeVoe Torrence, one of the best high school players in the state - if not country - will help his team win.

And who are we kidding? At places such as Massillon and McKinley, football is a bottom-line business, and that bottom line is wins and losses. That's just the way it is, has been and always will be
