Mount Vernon basketball standout Kevin Jones will attend the prestigious NBA Top 100 Camp, which begins today at the University of Virginia.
The nation's top 100 high school incoming seniors will participate in the five-day camp, which was created 12 years ago by the NBA Players Association. Jones will partake in various clinics, drills and seminars, as well as play in daily scrimmages before NBA scouts.
"This is a great event and I'm really looking forward to playing in it," said Jones, a 6-foot-8 forward. "It will give me a chance to focus on what I need to get better at. I'll definitely see how far my game is coming along and how far I need to go to be at an elite level."
